On Wednesday 7 May 2025, our company, SYSTADA, signed two new contracts for the preparation of management studies, further strengthening its activity in the forestry sector.
The partner of the company, Mr. Dimitris Tsiaras, attended the offices of the Municipality of Nestorio, where he signed, in the presence of the Mayor Mr. Christos Gosliopoulos, the contracts concerning the management studies of the municipal forests of Eptachorio and Kipseli for the management period 2025-2034.
These management studies do not only contribute to the rational and sustainable management of forests, but also have a substantial socio-economic impact since through the sustainable management of forests, firewood is ensured to cover the needs of the inhabitants of mountainous settlements, while at the same time the local economy is strengthened through the employment of forest workers of forestry cooperatives. of the region. In this way, they are given an additional incentive to stay in their place, contributing to addressing the depopulation of mountainous rural areas.
