Forest managementAccording to the Forestry Legislation, for the exploitation of public and private forests and forest lands, it is necessary to prepare a forestry management study, which estimates the timber stock, the increment and the entry (organization of forestry by space and time).
The experienced staff of SYSTADA makes the most of all modern mapping and inventory methods.
Technical and economic studies
According to articles 47 and 47b of Law 998.79, as currently in force with the provisions of Laws 4280/2014 and 4315.2014 respectively, for the “regularization” of currently cultivated lands that were cleared up to the year 2007, it is required, among other things, preparation of an economic and technical study of the viability of the agricultural holding, which is prepared by a private geotechnical scientist and must be co-signed by a forester. Those interested can contact the SYSTADA to investigate their inclusion in the said arrangements.
Forest MapsA Forest Map is the statutory record of the boundaries of the areas subject to the protective provisions of the forest legislation.
Although the Forest Map does not affect the property rights of private individuals or the State, in practice any private land that appears as forest in the Forest Map is claimed by the State as public forest land.
The Forest Maps may contain significant errors, inaccuracies or omissions, which can be remedied through the process of submitting objections or manifest errors. Our executives undertake the submission and support in the context of the above process.
